I campioni in carica all’Eurovision Song Contest, quello dei “grandi”, portano in gara una girl band formata da quattro ragazzine, le Unity.
Le Unity sono formate dalle tredicenni Naomi Traa e Jayda Monteiro Da Silva e dalle quattordicenni Maud Noordam e Demi Van Den Bos.
La loro canzone si intitola “Best friends” (I migliori amici) e ovviamente parla di vera amicizia che supera anche le grandi distanze.
Con “Best friends” le Unity hanno vinto il festival nazionale Junior Songfestival.
I Paesi Bassi hanno vinto la competizione nel 2009 con Ralf Mackenback e la canzone “Click clack”.
